The car decodes as a Medium Blue with Blue Vinyl Interior 1964 Corvette Concertible. The engine appears to be 1971 396 300 HP used in Chevelle, Monte Carlo, and Camaro with TH Transmission. The engine was cast March 11, 1971 and assembled March 19, 1971 in Tonawanda, NY.
The car overall a very nice car. The engine, fender flares, wheels, AC, and a few other items are not original. However many of these items are an enhancement over original. The paint on the car was good. The largest flaw in the paint was a substantial scratch on the left rear quarter panel. Also some chipping on inside lip for top cover and inside edges of hood. The finish of the paint was good, as well as the work on the flares. The bright work on the car was all good. Bumpers were good inside and out. All window and windshield moldings were very good. All door glass was original, the windshield was replaced. Side pipes on the car
The interior of the car was very good. Everything presented itself well. All items were functional. All gauges were operational. Aftermarket AC was installed and nicely done. Venting is discreet. All carpets were of original type and very nice. Door Panels were excellent. Dash was very good. Seat Covers were very good. All interior bright work was good to very good. The steering wheel was nice, but not original.
Wheels and tires were excellent. The fit was very good and I think that the choice was very good. The style of the wheel is an early Halibrand design. Brakes were upgraded to discs up front. Drums are still the rear. At the time of restoration, all suspension, brakes, lines were all redone. The items are not all to original spec, but are current better quality available components.
Mechanically the car was very good. The engine ran very well and sounded great. Lots of torque. I started out in 3 rd gear, once by accident and once on purpose. I would estimate the engine to be around 425HP. It was very strong, but not real cammy or radical. The engine compartment was clean and well sorted. HEI ignition, better cooling, aftermarket AC with polished compressor, small chrome accents, L88 Style Hood, Headers, Upgrade brake master, braided plug wires, and more. The suspension was all redone. All bushings, sway bars, carbon one piece rear spring, brakes, u Joints, everything was done. Transmission, clutch, and shifter all were very good.
