This is a wonderful and terribly fun 1965 356SC Coupe named Seamor. This car was the brain child of a good client of ours, a local Porsche enthusiast, and overall great guy. The idea for Seamor started years ago, when Seamor’s owner saw a photo of Janis Joplinโs 1965 Porsche 356C Cabriolet. Janis paid about $3,500 to a Beverly Hills auto dealer in September 1968. Big Brother roadie Dave Richards created the psychedelic design, which includes an image of Janis and Big Brother on the front left fender.
This was a bold creative step to do something rarely seen with such a great car. Keep in mind, this is a wonderful example of a 1965 356 SC Coupe in Slate Grey with a Red interior. The car has it’s original engine. The car hasn’t been painted. Seamor has been covered by a vinyl wrap that was done by a local shop in Palm Beach County. The idea of Seamor isn’t understood by all, however you won’t find too many cars that get more thumbs up, horns honked, and waved to than Seamor. I can tell you that Seamor is a truly super cool car that has a great owner. Look for Seamor to be on the market soon. This great car could be yours!
