With Amelia Island 2012 coming shortly, I had a chance to look back at some of the great cars from last year. I have always been a huge Cobra fan. CSX 3360 was the last of the Cobra’s that were produced. This example was fantastic. I loved the look of the color, starburst wheels, underside exhaust, and the lack of roll bar. This was such a clean looking car that was wonderfully restored.
CSX 3360 was originally purchase from Grappone Ford in Concord, NH by Erland Russell. The car was originally all red, but I think that the color chosen for this restoration is fantastic. This is owned by Bruce Canepa. Here’s a little article of the cars restoration prior to it’s 1st showing here at Amelia Island in 2011.
