We had the pleasure of spending an afternoon at P.B.I.R. recently. The event was hosted by Rodger Hawley of Orbit Racing. This was a private track day for invited clients. The car that caught my eye was this very rare and very nice Porsche Type 964 Carrera RSR. This was a fantastic example that was a very well sorted car. Rodger Hawley took the liberty of taking in a few hot laps with it. The car just looked so easy to drive and was a pleasure to watch work it’s way around the track. Only 51 Type 964 RSR’s were made between 1993 and 1994. This car was driven in it’s early years by Jorge Trejos. I saw this car race at Watkins Glen in the summer of 1994.
