Inspection and appraisal services at Mecum Indianapolis, IN. Expert Auto Appraisals will be at the Mecum Auctions event in Indy this May and will be available for pre-purchase inspection and appraisal services. My services will be available on any of the cars, trucks, or motorcycles in the auction. The auction runs from May 12th through 20th. Mecum Indianapolis 2024 is one of the largest auction venues in the world with a great assortment of Collections, American Muscle, Classics, and European Sports Cars. For that reason, several great opportunities will be available to bid on. I can provide inspection services on single or multiple lots. The auction is expecting to run 3,000 cars. Mecum Indy Auction Inspection Services
Expert Auto Appraisals will perform our inspection and appraisal services at the Mecum Indianapolis event in May 2024. We can statically inspect all aspects of the vehicle. A full suite of photos of the entire vehicle is always provided. We photograph finish flaws, brightwork, trim, gauges, interior, and all other areas of the vehicle. When applicable, paint meter measurements are also photographed. When applicable and possible, driveline photos for stampings, castings, VIN, trim tags, undercarriage, and suspension. On average, over 150 detailed photographs are provided for review.
Additionally, we can have the auction staff start the vehicle to test basic operations such as running, lighting, gauges, etc. Because of auction rules, test drives are not permitted. Also, if available, I can interview the seller to get additional history and information. The auction office may also have documentation, awards, judging sheets, restoration receipts, etc. If available, we will include it in the inspection.
I regularly inspect American Muscle, Classics, Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette, Shelby, GM Muscle, Mopar, Ford, Jaguar, and Motorcycles. I have inspected everything from Abarth to Zagato.

Mecum Indianapolis Auction Inspection Pricing
Most single-vehicle pre-purchase inspections at the Mecum Indianapolis auction cost $600. Inspections requiring additional work will be quoted individually. It’s important to realize an estimated 3,000 cars will be at this auction. For this reason, I will be happy to give a quote for multiple cars that you’d like inspected. I encourage this due to the number of cars, any of which may be a great opportunity to buy.
