At the Scottsdale Car Week Auctions in 2025, you can count on the expertise of Expert Auto Appraisals. We will offer pre-purchase inspection and appraisal services for all cars, trucks, and motorcycles available at the Barrett Jackson, RM Sotheby’s, Bonhams, and MAG Auctions events. The auctions, which run from January 18th to 26th, are one of the largest auction events in the country, featuring over 2,000 vehicles. The auctions will feature various Collections: American Muscle Cars, Classics, and European Sports Cars, providing numerous opportunities for bidding. With this in mind, I offer flexible inspection services for single or multiple lots, tailored to our client’s specific needs, wide variety, and quantity of vehicles available at the Barrett-Jackson or RM Sotheby’s auction.
Inspection Services
Expert Auto Appraisals will perform our inspection and appraisal services at all the auctions during Car Week in Scottsdale, AZ. We statically inspect all aspects of the vehicle. I always provide a full suite of photos of the entire vehicle to show finish flaws, brightwork, trim, gauges, interior, underside, suspension, engine, and all other areas of the vehicle. When applicable, I can provide photographs of paint meter measurements. Additionally, photos of driveline stampings, castings, VIN, and trim tags are provided. On average, I give over 150 detailed photographs for review. However, I can tailor my services to meet your needs and the vehicle.
Additionally, we can have the auction staff start the vehicle to test basic operations such as running, lighting, gauges, etc. The auctions do not allow test drives. Also, if available, I can interview the seller to get additional history and information. In addition, the auction office may have documentation, awards, judging sheets, restoration receipts, etc. If available, we will be included in the inspection.
It is important to realize that I regularly inspect Vintage Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, American Muscle cars, Classics, Corvette, Jaguar, and Motorcycles. I have inspected everything from Abarth to Zagato.
Scottsdale Auction Inspection Pricing
For most single-vehicle inspections, Barrett-Jackson and MAG cost $600, and RM Sotheby’s and Bonhams Scottsdale auctions cost $750. Certain vehicle inspections will be quote individually. Additionally, I will have access to over 2,000 cars offered by four auction companies in separate locations. For this reason, it may be challenging to fill all requests. I encourage booking early due to the number of cars, which may be a great opportunity. In conclusion, this market offers several great cars, so be prepared.

Barrett Jackson Auction Inspection
Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auction is always a world-class event with several great opportunities. The auction runs from January 19 to 26. As a result, we can prepare bidders for some fantastic cars and the opportunities that a No Reserve format can present. RM Sotheby’s Scottsdale auction has an incredible lineup of some of the most significant cars in the world. The event is on January 24, 2025, at the Arizona Biltmore. Bonhams Scottsdale Auction Inspection
Bonhams Scottsdale auction has a great lineup for this year’s auction. The January 24 auction event is at the Westin Kierland Resort. This auction always presents an attractive buying opportunity. I will be available for inspection at this Scottsdale event. Inspection services are available for any vehicles at the Bonhams Scottsdale Auction event. MAG Auctions
The MAG Auctions event will run from January 24th to 26th. Inspection services will be available on a limited basis. The MAG Auction will be held at the Cubs Stadium in Sloan Park in Mesa, AZ. Over 300 cars are expected to be run. Being that this is a new event, many opportunities may exist.
