Offered for sale is this very nice 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop. This car was the subject of a restoration many years ago. The paint is well over 20 years old. The car is a good solid car that is now showing signs of flaws in the paint. The paint has several flaws and checking. This car has been the benefactor of an engine rebuild approximately 6 years ago. The engine is a solid lifter 283 and has a 1957 Rochester Fuel Injection Unit 7014800, which was rebuilt at the same time. The car even has the very hard to find 1110905 Distributor dated 7D23. The engine block is not original to the car. The car has a close ratio Muncie transmission with a Hurst Shifter. The car runs and drives very well. The interior is in good condition overall. The radio is out of the dash, but can be seen in the trunk. I don’t know if it works. The engine compartment is clean and well sorted. This car is a Bel Air, and was originally a Black Car. The interior was originally Black and Red which is now obviously changed. Overall, this is a great car to enjoy as it sits, or is very deserving of a quality repaint.
