This decodes as a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 that was scheduled to complete production in the 4th week of February 1969, but completed production in Norwood, OH in early March, 1969. The car was finished in Daytona Yellow (76). The interior is finished in Yellow Houndstooth Bucket Seats (714). The engine block was cast on February 24, 1969 assembled on February 25,1969 as a 302 rated at 290 HP and is the original unit to the car. The transmission was assembled on February 17, 1969 as a close ratio M21 and is the original to the car. The rear axle was assembled on March, 03, 1969. The car ordered with a 4.10 ratio when new. The intake manifold is original to the car. The carburetor is correct by type and date to the car. The alternator is correct by type and date to the car. In my opinion, after close inspection, this is the original engine and transmission to the car. All supporting components such as intake, exhaust manifolds, brake master, brake booster, pulleys, and related hardware are correct to the car.
