I have the ability to tailor the inspection to your needs and the vehicle. A Pre Purchase Inspection on a low mileage Porsche 997 GT3 is tailored differently than a vintage car. This inspection is tailored to identify of any paint work, accident history, and a clean Engine DME scan. In contrast, the inspection services would adjust for a 1967 Corvette that has been restored, now over 50 years old. The scope of the inspection would include verifying originality of engine and all driveline components. Florida Pre Purchase Inspection Service
In a typical inspection, I statically inspect all aspects of the vehicle. Always provided is a full suite of photos of the entire vehicle. We photograph finish flaws, brightwork, trim, gauges, interior, and all other areas of the vehicle. I provide multiple paint meter measurements on every panel which are photographed. When applicable and possible, driveline photos for stampings, castings, VIN, trim tags, and body numbers are captured. Detailed photos of undercarriage, floors, and suspension are included.
On average, over 250 detailed photographs are provided for review. As always, the vehicle is run and driven and all functions are tested for operation. The drive is usually a few miles in a local area, testing basic mechanical operations. The captured photos are numbered and shared online in high resolution to my client. The notes will be shared via emailed PDF that will correspond with the numbered photos. The usual turnaround for the report is the day after inspection.

Paint Meter
The paint meters I use are Elcometer 415FNF, Defelsko PosiTector 6000, and Defelsko PosiTector 200 probe. This gives us the ability to measure surfaces on steel, aluminum at depths up to 75.0 mils., helpful when inspection restored cars and damage repair. The Defelsko PosiTector 200 can measure carbon fiber, Kevlar, and composite bodied cars such as Porsche Carrera GT, Ferrari F40, Ferrari 288, Ferrari Enzo, and the like.
Auction Inspections
I regularly perform inspections on all genres of special interest cars offered by the major auction houses. I attend Mecum events throughout the country, including Kissimmee, Indy, Monterey, Houston, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Glendale. Barrett Jackson events I regularly attend are Scottsdale and Palm Beach. RM Sothebys, Gooding & Co., and Bonhams events are attended at AmeIia Island, Scottsdale, and Monterey.

Over the last couple years, I find myself flying out a few times a month to inspect a vehicle at a sellers location prior to the auction end. Porsche Pre Purchase Inspections / PPI
I perform PPI or Pre Purchase Inspections on all years of Porsche cars throughout Florida and United States. In addition to the regular inspection services, a few items are specific to some Porsche models. I can provide a DME read for data such as engine hours and Rev Range info using Durametric Diagnostic tool. This can be used on all 996 / 986, 987 / 997, and 981.1 / 991.1 generation sportscars as well as Carrera GT. Additionally, paint meters used are Elcometer 411FNF, Delfelsko PosiTector 6000, and Defelsko PosiTector 200 probe. This gives us the ability to measure surfaces on steel, aluminum, carbon fiber and composite bodied cars such as Carrera GT, GT3 RS fenders, etc.
Corvette Inspections
I perform several Corvette Pre Purchase Inspections a year, mostly C1, C2, and C3 generations. These are popular cars for inspections due to value and the several Corvette specific items that are hard to evaluate remotely. Several of the Corvette Inspection I perform are at auctions such as Mecum and Barrett Jackson where limited information and photos are available. Corvette Inspection Services are available throughout the United States. I will travel to the car to perform the inspection at the seller’s facility or residence. We tailor the services to the Corvette that we are inspecting. I collect engine number stampings, castings, transmission info, rear axle, Trim tag, VIN tag, and condition photos.
