1952 MG TD West Palm Beach
I performed a Pre Purchase Inspection and Appraisal on this wonderful 1952 MG TD. This was a great value to my client. The car had completely restored to a very high level, arguably over restored. The finish was fantastic, and the details were perfect. The investment made into the car was near $100,000 through it’s purchase and restoration. The value of the car is well short of that value in todays market. The TD was produced from 1950 to 1953 and nearly 30,000 examples were produced. These were the sports car that really put Sports Cars on the map in the US market. They were commonly used in races and events, were inexpensive, and fun to drive. They were powered by a 1,250cc inline 4 cylinder engine that was rated at 57 HP! These are still inexpensive cars in the Sports Car market today, and due to lower prices, it’s not often you’ll see one restored to this quality.
