I attended the May Mecum Auction Spring Classic event in Indianapolis, Indiana. I performed an auction Pre Purchase / Bid Inspection and Appraisal on this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window Coupe. This Corvette was a 340 horsepower car that had recently finished a restoration performed by its owner. The car was a nice driver-quality car, fitted with a 1964 engine. We passed on the bidding; however, the car went on to sell on the block for $80,000.
