Expert Auto Appraisals performed an inspection an inspection on this 1963 Corvette Z06. I performed the inspection at Pro Team Corvette in Napoleon, OH.
This was a great car with a great history and still remains unrestored, but looks great. The dealer added the stripes when the car was new! Chevrolet built only 199 Corvette’s with the Z06 option in 1963. The Z06 option included Fuel Injection, Heavy Duty Brakes, and Heavy Duty Suspension. The earlier cars also had the 36 gallon fuel tank and was a separate option on the later cars. This example is believed to be the last Z06 ever made. Many of the Z06’s were used competitively in period and few very survived as well as this example. Photos below will show the overall condition and some of the unique pieces of the Z06 option.
