We recently traveled to the Baltimore, Maryland area to perform a Pre Purchase Inspection on this very nice 1964 Studebaker Avanti. This was a very late car in the production series. Studebaker Avanti’s are quite a car for the values that they trade at today. I had the opportunity to put some miles on this example in a rural setting. This was quite a car on the road. This example was R2 version which featured a Paxton Supercharged engine produced 290hp. This example was very well documented and very original with the exception of a repaint. We assisted our buyer and the seller in putting a deal together from half way around the world on this really interesting car.
