We performed a Pre Purchase Inspection on the 1967 Shelby GT500 at the Mecum Auction Spring Classic at Indianapolis, IN. This was a car that was sent to the block on Saturday evening and was sold at $137,500. This was a restored car that was done reasonably well and was fitted with a Police Interceptor engine. This wasn’t a big price for a 1967 GT500, but was a good price for this example. The sale was just after the passing of Carroll Shelby.
