On behalf of a European client of mine, I traveled to Norfolk, VA to perform an inspection and appraisal of this very nice 1967 Shelby GT500. An old school car guy that had owned the car for several years. He had used the car regularly through the years and has taken good care of the vehicle while he enjoyed it.
The car as inspected was a color change from new. It was originally Lime Gold, and like many Lime Gold cars, this one found a new color. These are one of the most significant and important Muscle Cars of that era. Only 2,048 GT500’s were produced in 1967, the last year that Shelby built the Shelby Mustang’s. I had a chance to get out on the road with this car in the hands of it’s owner, and it was a great way to finish the day. My client purchased the car and shipped the to his home in Europe.
