Expert Auto Appraisals inspected this 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo S Flachbau. This Porsche inspection was for a good client at the Broad Arrow Auction Amelia Island 2023 event. My inspection proved this was an excellent low-mileage example of a rare Porsche 911 Turbo variant. The car’s specification was excellent, X85 Flachbau, X88 380 HP engine, finished in Black with Black full leather interior. As a result, my client was the winning bidder on the car. Broad Arrow cataloged the car with an auction estimate of $1,150,000 to $1,300,000. My client was the winning bidder on the car for $1,215,000 with buyer premium.
1994 Porsche 911 Turbo S Flachbau
The 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 was the final variant of the 964 Platform Porsche 911 Turbo. As 964 production was coming to a close, Porsche produced a handful of Turbo 3.6 S. The Turbo S featured the X88 “S” engine that produced 380 HP. In total, Porsche produced 93 Turbo “S” cars worldwide. 56 of the cars came to the North American market. Of these, 39 cars were produced with the X85 Turbo S Flat Nose Package. Because of high costs in production, these were the last of a great era of hand-built Porsche 911 Turbo.
