I performed a Pre-Purchase Inspection and Appraisal on this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible in South Florida. The seller offered this Corvette with the L36 427 engine, as a good driver quality example that was moderately priced. There was some concern about the originality of the engine. I found some new fiberglass work in the rear of the body and other flaws typical at the level of the car. The owners’s representation was fair and the vehicle ran and drove well.
