We performed a Pre Purchase Inspection on this restored 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Convertible. This car was one of the many we inspected at the Mecum Spring Classic in Indianapolis. This was a nice car that we collected all driveline info for our client. We inspected and photographed engine casting, engine casting date, stamp pad info, transmission stamping, rear end, and all documentation. This was bid to $75,000 on Thursday night. I was surprised to see the car No Sale. If there was a real bid of $75,000, I think the seller may have been a bit optimistic holding out for more.
