We can statically inspect all aspects of the vehicle. I always provide a full suite of photos of the entire car or truck. I photograph finish flaws, brightwork, trim, gauges, interior, and all other areas of the vehicle. I photograph paint meter measurements when applicable. When applicable and possible, driveline photos for stampings, castings, VIN, trim tags, undercarriage, and suspension. On average, over 150 detailed photographs are provided for review.
Additionally, we can have the owner or auction staff start the vehicle to test basic operations such as running, lighting, gauges, etc. Auction rules prohibit test drives. Also, I can interview the seller to get additional history and information if available. In addition, the auction office may have documentation, awards, judging sheets, restoration receipts, etc. If available, we will include it in the inspection.
