I recently inspected this very rare 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 F Code for appraisal. This was in a collection of cars in Punta Gorda, Florida that I appraised for an estate. This 1957 Ford Fairlane F Code was 312 V8 with a four barrel carb and a McCulloch-Paxton Supercharger rated at 300 HP. This was the most powerful engine that Ford had available at the time. Ford made the F Codes engines available in quite a few models, however were most found in Thunderbirds. Ford produced less than 300 F Code cars in total. In summary, this is one of rarest performance Ford cars by any measure. This was a well done restoration but now is older. was well done, but older. but still showed well, overall a very nice car, that was well sorted, and the subject of a well done, but older restoration.
